It is in this scene we start to see Alessandro's plans take shape in Rome as he targets key figures and gets away with murders as we start to realise that the chief of Police is one of Alessandro's men in power. (In addition, there is reference to the stealing of a ship - by MC - for the family in Marseille wher he used to work. Alessandro wants to know who and punish them.)

Insert here the story of MC Tracking down Peppino and setting up a meet with Vampa.
Scene Part 2.
Vampa expects a trap and upon the meeting date, arrives, sees the sailors in waiting and takes pot shots at Cristo, then abandons as the sailors rush forward to seize him.

We return to the very scene opened with in the synopsis. But we see it from the Point of Vampa who feels that a Devil and his sailors are chasing him through the hills above Rome. The little villain tries to flee the on coming assault, but is cornered. To his surprise, the man is actually there to save him from the forces he had mistaken him for. The papal gendarm that were not three days away and trying to arrest him. And so a great partner ship is forged between the two as MC conveys Vampa hither and tither evading the gendarms at every turn. However this later leads to the arrival of the Hound in persuit of Vampa and his patron (MC).
